Default Boost Controller question..

My question is about the GReddy Profec A Boost Controller (or anything else.. they probably do the same thing). I know it's for control the boost (like the name say) but I'm an not sure if I'm understanding correctly...

Suppose I'm on the road and my engine can handle 20psi w/ no problem, I roll w/ 6-7psi for street driving and a ******* Rustang come by me at a red light.. can I, just with the push of a button on the boost controller, set my turbo at 16psi and eat that ************?

Thanks

But you aren't understanding....A Rustang wouldn't beat you at 6-7 psi.

Yes, that's how an electronic boost controller works. You can change it on the fly. Some of them require more than a push of one button, though.

One of my friend have a drag 5.0L mustang so I'll just be betting him at like 12psi but if I want to EAT it I'll go with 16psi

Thanks!!
