Default Boost controller how do you control your W/G?

I would like to know how do you control your external W/G Tial or PTE with a profec B or AVC-R.

Moreover do I need to cap unuse ports?
Example, if you control your external W/G by the bottom of the W/G do you cap the other port on the bottom and on the top?

Thks

It's not the best diagram but it gets the idea across. The bottom port on the WG connects to the turbo housing and boost controller, the top port on the WG connects to the other end of the boost controller.

Correct. Use it in conjunction with the ProfecB instructions. Do not "cap off" any open ports.

the in-cabin unit turns off or the solenoid? either way sounds like a wiring problem. can you take a picture or describe exactly how everything is connected.

if the unit is turned off in the cabin, it will automatically go to wastegate spring boost setting. without some other controller, you'll stay at the wastegate's spring boost pressure setting.

and it can be deceiving because the unit can be OFF (no boost control) but the display itself still lights up to display boost pressure.

I've found the problem.
When you control the W/G by the bottom, you need to cap off the other Bottom port otherwise there is a leak.
Don't need to cap off the top.

Umm. you use both the top AND bottom ports of the wastegate. One goes into COM, the other NC.

this is incorrect for an external wg.

you want to run one lower/side port to the compressor housing (boost reference), the other 2 lower ports get plugged. top port to COM on boost solenoid. NC port to boost compressor housing (tee into side port line). NO is left open

i've attached the greddy instructions with the install diagram
