Default Boost controller "clicking"

I have the Innovative MSBC-1 boost controller for about a year now and it "clicks" or makes "rat tat tat tat tat" noise more often now and the boost setting fluctuates between 8 (set) and 14.

Anyone else have this boost controller and the clicking issue? I checked for vacume leaks and all the hoses are snug and tight. What gives?

Clicking sound comes from the outside unit (shown red arrow), its mounted above my intake manifold,

I can feel it clicking by placing fingers on the unit..than before it stops clicking their is a "bssssht" sound of a miniscule volume air being released from the unit it seems, than the clicking would start up again...

could be something wrong with wastegate, clicking noise might be the wastegate spring opening and closing.
