Im turboing my 88 crx si and am going to run a afc hack. I might go with a zc or y8 later ... so what would you guys suggest. Getting a SAFC or VAFC? I know you can just not use the vtec wire .. any downfalls with that? thanks

Get a QAFC
get the vafc, thats what i have! I got vafc becuase maybe later a vtec motor might be in the picture

Hey thanks, it looks like you have the same set up as me. mine isnt in yet, all i need left is a vafc/safc and charge piping. Is there any disadvantages while using a vafc? And, with the vafc do i need to run larger injectors, Im only going to run 6 lbs of boost and i have a 255 fuel pump.

I was told that there was no reason to use bigger injectors with a afc. ... reason being that i could just run 100% fuel threw my injectors. Thats wrong?
Again, would you go with vafc or safc, any other oppinions? thanks

You were told wrong. Get soem DSM 450cc injectors if your going to be using the AFC. Get the safc also, no need for the vafc. I wouldn't go with either though, the AFC has had it's time... it's old school. I recommend looking into chipping your ECU.
