Default Boost Climbing

I just pulled a d16z6 with vitaras and turbo kit out of my cousins car and put it in another guys car. When it was in my cousin's car it would hold 15 psi and now it will not stop climbing. My cousin's car had a greddy ebc but it was set to 16 psi. Now the wastegate goes straight to vacuum on the intake mani where the pcv valve normally goes in, and it saw 20+ psi and climbing when we let off. What would cause this? Vacuum lines to big? Someone please help. The motor, turbo kit, and ecu all came out of one car and into the other.

ck your vacuum lines. They should be going to a stright vaccum source.

they are going straight to a vacuum port on the intake mani. Nothing between the port and wastegate.

Terrible wastegate placement on the manifold is a very good possibility! Or the turbo is too small and your over spooling it and the wastegate cannot catch the boost
