Alright well driving up to see my family on friday and the car was running great. I get a couple miles form there house and my upper coolant hose splits in half and covers everything on my motor with coolant. Now my car gets to 6 thousand rpms and builds boost fine, and seems right around the vtec cross over point or a little afterwards it just sounds like im hitting a rev limiter. My first thoughts here were that my dizzy has gone bad , even though its only a month old (but it could of gotten wet. I do plan on swapping one off a friends car to see if this corrects the problem. Well any imput will help just wanted to get this taken care of before I make the four hour drive back to where I live.

same thing happened to me, only my car wouldnt even run. Coolant had gotten in the distributor and coated all of the tips. it would just sputter and die.

try removing the cap, and cleaning all of the tips and the rotor off with a sharp knife or sandpaper.
