I'd probably run closer to 5 or 6 if hes going for longevity.

stock sleeves can handle 300whp and pistons/rods about 200-250whp.

9psi on a gt28 will produce more power than a t25 at 9psi.

So i'll say it again: you're all wrong.

Talk in terms of whp, not psi. 'The sol that could' has the right idea here...

I completely understand that. The thing is,

a) I didn't want to go into that, because with whatever turbo he is going to use, anything over 10 psi will probably break it relatively quickly

b) From what I can see hes just learning, and I gave him a conservative number for whatever setup he may choose.

The thing is though, you still are going to need to actually do research and learn stuff that I'm quite sure you don't already know. All-motor is just as hard to pull off if not more difficult than turbo, and it's also in most cases more expensive to make good power.

I'd just do some research and go boost

yeah, ur posting under "Forced Induction" so everyone's opinion is going to be a little bias...w/that said, boost is better. if ur trying to get ~230whp on a zc all-motor, then i say you're either crazy or you have oodles of cash.

Yeah...if you manage to do that you could probably get your car into magazines. That would have to be one insane all-motor setup.

i agree with vsm98civic.

psi is irrelevant to an engine's longevity under boost. its about whp/whp. perfect example, as he stated already, 7 psi with a 28r and 7 psi with a 40r are the same now? i don't think so.
