boost=temp rise
im running b16 turbo, in a crx.. do to the limited space , everything is close to each other. im currently using a full race custom pwr rad to work with there front member, there is a new water pump, thermostat, hoses, and im using a pusher fan, mounted the opposite of stock, with the air going towards the motor. car runs at good temp under normal driving conditions, when i go hard in to boost(rpm)it starts to rise to the halfway mark.. what do most cars run at? have to get tuned , worried will get to hot.

Re: boost=temp rise (str8boost)
my car did this b4. it was all because my fan was blowing the hot air from the rad on to the intercooler and heating it up. take a sheet of paper and hold it in frount of the rad and make sure its blowing and not sucking.

Re: boost=temp rise (TURBO BLUE HATCH)
Are we talking about exhaust temperature or water temperature? There is a difference. Lean and rich conditions will effect exhaust temperature but shouldn't effect the water temperature much. If your water temperature is rising, I'd get the cooling system checked out or invest in a better radiator and/or fan.
