My manifold is the one that keeps cracking, that Delslo93 was refering to. It has cracked 3 times, but I also have a big housing hanging off of there, and it was the older version of his manifolds. I can't complain, it makes good power when it is cracked. Just sucks I have to tear it off every 2 months to get fixed. But no big deal to me. He is a great guy and offered to fix it numerous times. But I can't have my car down that long.

I have never used his manifolds but I can vouge for his customer service and quality machining. He CNC'd my Kia Mi-Tech flanges for less than others charged for plasma or waterjet, mailed them quickly and was always curteous and friendly. Definately the go-to guy for custom flange work.

I do second that, I got an HF adapter from them, great machine work. I honestly am not upset that much. It isn't like the manifold broke and fell off.

No but it would have been funny if it did kerr!.....no i like the manifold im just not impressed that it cracked. My next manifold will be cast i believe just so i dont have to worry about these issues of breaking.

For all those low bugiteers, we are planning on releasing a cast manifold stainless manifold within the next 3-4 months. We are just trying to finalize up a design, get good casters, and get the $$$ to drop down for the casters to tool up for it.

anyone ever run one of these?
400bux each,
and I think they look cool as hell,
much better(visually) than those ramhorn ones, which are starting to bore me..

if they can flow enough, I might think about one for my 300whp sohc setup in the future.

I ordered one for a customer and it seemed nice. The material is nice and thick, and the welds look like they penetrate well...

Their manifold is good quality, the weld on manifold wouldnt be consider bad... but i dont like how there is still thin metal pieces hanging all over inside the manifold ( i believe the Polish SS manifold posted in page oen was mine when it was being made)... I ordered a package of manifold/downpipe/dumptube form james and his service is great but i had some trouble fitting those stuff into my car, my turbo hit my block so much that i grind the **** out of it and i accidently grind so much i have about 1/2 inch hole right where motor is mounted onto tranny and it still hitting my block which is impossible for me to place a filter on, and my 4 bolt 3 inch downpipe dont have much space for me to put any kind of bolt/nut in( i couldnt turn a 12mm nut because it was hitting the pipe), i had to get those allen key bolt and still having problem tighten them up and it leaking but im gonna go figure something else out this weekend.

I wonder if that's gonna cause any damage if some of it fall off and hit the spinning blade?

After reading your post I went out and test fit my BMC manifold...no problems. What is your setup? Which manifold do you have? AC or non AC?

I've only ever dealt with the finished product once. It was on a customer's car and it arrived to be tuned. Before the night was over it had cracked and almost fallen into 2. I saw it off the car separated.

Although the accessable welds looked good from the outside, the poor quality showed on the inside. There was a high amount of chromium oxide contamination which tells me that it was either not purged or done poorly. The flange was also not the flattest thing on earth. On a surface plate you could slide a dime under the warpage.

I have no idea how recent this manifold was or how much abuse it suffered but I do not like having to remove manifolds because of problems.
