Blue Wire Mod - Black Box
I have tried to do a search but it won't find anything...I can't remember how to do the blue wire mod - I am correct in saying that it will let the AFC display a A/F rating right? Also, what is this I here about "black boxes", any info would be appreciated.
Thanks ahead of time!!!

Yea..it lets you read the O2 sensor voltage with the SAFC, you cant use the VAFC. Just take the blue wire on the SAFC (its not being used) and connect it to the white o2 sensor wire....walla you have a o2 voltage meter...goto the setup menu and then "check voltages"

LEAN RANGE: (.050 to .249V)
STOICHIOMETRIC RANGE: (.250 to .749V)
RICH RANGE: (.750 to 1.000V)
These values also applies to the autometer A/F gauge. LEAN range is the red led, stoich is the yellow, and rich is of course the green LEDs.
You normally want to tune a turbo honda on the rich side, around .88 to .90 volts.

Once the blue wire mod is done, would there be any reason to unhook it? Do you still have the ability to adjust everything once it is hooked up?

Hey Liam....I have a VAFC, why can't I use the Blue wire mod and what is the VTM signal anyway? (What's it stand for?)
The blue wire is used for the 2nd MAF sensor on a 300ZX-TT.The VTM signal is the vtec signal i guess..i dont have one so im not sure.
