Default blox mani/ 4bolt dp??

I ordered a blox turbo manifold and I have a t3t4e 50trim stg3 turbo with 4 bolt exhaust port. I also have a 3" downpipe that I want to re-use with this new setup. Will I be able to use a 3"dp on a 4 bolt with this mani on a b16? I have read many posts but never really got a straight answer on this one.

That manifold should be run with a 5 bolt housing. The 4 bolt puts the turbo too much into the block. It can be done but you will be shaving an un healthy amount off the block. This is with the compressor facing the tranny A/C compatible way.

If I need to use a elbow or make a 2.5" dp I will have to use my guy at the small town exhaust shop and custom make them with bending regular exhaust pipe and not mb ss. would that cause any performance issues? That f'n blox mani sales description should say 5 bolt/ wg clearence issues!!

Should have swooped this manifold... it has a better wastegate position than the Blox and is cheaper too.

size of the downpipe doesnt matter. the compressor hosuing is what hits the block. 4-bolt turbos sit in farther than the 5-bolts. so if you want to keep that mani then you will need to get a 5bolt turbo or flip the turbo around, non-AC compatible with the compressor on the drivers side.

as far as the wastegate, you will need an elbow if you have a vtec head.
