blown built motors?
how many of you have blown built motors? i am contemplating an engine rebuild right now due to a 50% loss of compression in clyinder #4. i figure while its apart, might as well build it up. i just want to make sure i'm not pissing even more money down that rathole. if i build the motor, i plan on running about 15 psi, street, with a standalone and larger injectors. insterested in your experiences/opinions. thanks.

Re: blown built motors? (GSRacer)
I've had a built motor for about 1 year or so. Compression check were within spec and so was the leak down (0-5%). I'm a paranoid freak and I check all fluids, lines, hoses everytime I drive to the shop. I do drive the car hard everytime I drive it. **** is gonna rattle loose so just be prepared for that.

the metal shaving in the oil were very small, yet im quite scared about it. So im going to take the motor apart and do a look on whats going on. Possible problems, - piston melted, bearings.
I'lll keep everyone posted
