hehehehe funny stuff...

Look, a BOV works like this...on a turbo, it's mounted on the charge pipe, which holds pressure. The BOV is connected to the intake mani via a hose. What happens is the pressure from the intake mani holds the valve closed until you shift. The the top of the BOV isn't getting any pressure, but since there is still pressure in the pipe (because the throttle plate is closed) the valve opens and blows off.

Now if you put one on an intake pipe...it won't over open. There is vacuum, but never positive pressure in the intake pipe.

But hey, at least it looks good, eh?

I love this stuff... The Apexi BOV will not work on the Jackson. You have to get the APC BOV for that.

The only way a car would have a BOV and a Jackson on it is if it had both the supercharger and a turbo on it. I've looked through some of your ricer mags before and seen this. You have to know what you're looking at if you're gona play with the big boys of Maguires and APC.

I think you'll need cross-drilled vacuum hose to make it work properly. They sell it at Pep Boys, Discount Auto, etc for ~.75 a foot.

You also need slotted carbon fiber brake booster lines to make it work.

Why don't you just get rid of your JRSC, get an E-Ram, an ASGM (Anti Static Grip Modulator), and an APC electronic blow-off noisemaker. You'll run 9's then with some decent tuning.

Yah.. I just canceld my subscription to honda tunning since I saw that feature car. The BOV was on the intake pipe before the turbo. Now if "HONDA TUNNING" features cars like that, then it is not worth my money to stay with them.. GOD HELP US!!

you could put your blow off valve on the intake manifold, that would be about the only way to do it with a jackson

You can keep the JRSC and put the bov on there then run a long vaccum hose to *** then fart. It will work your letting pressure out!

I know a way to get the sound of a BOV on a JRSC... First you need to have it tuned and be making some decent power. Then loosen your header a little from the head... as the engine snaps back as you let off the throttle the header will flex slightly and hot gass will escape...this makes a BOV sound.

I do not recommend this, but hey..I had to contribute to this lunacy.

Just thought of another way....have a custom made pully that has the same action as the freewheel on a bike, then mount the BOV on the intake manifold with a vac line to the TB. This may actually work....which really scares me
