Default blow off valve installation

hey i will probably be receiving my universal turbo xs h-rfl blow off valve soon and any tips on how to install it would be great. is there anything else i have to buy besides it, (i.e hoses, etc..) ???

weld the flange on and put the BOV on the flange.

you'll need some vacuum line, thats it.

weld the flange to my intake or to my intercooler? will a sodering iron work?

you can weld it to either the charge pipe or the intercooler endtanks itself.

no a soldering iron won't work, need an actual welder.

Just weld it to the charge pipe before the throttle body then run a vacuum source from your intake manifold to the bov and i guess thats it. hopefully your bov will have a barbed fiiting for the vacuum hose. boost away!

Make sure you compensate for the filter when having it welded. The RFL is a big BOV and I can barely get my filter in :-/
