this block okay to boost??
Block:
Oversized JDM type r pistons (cr 12:1)
LS rods shotpeened and magnafluxed
micropolished and balanced crank
or would it have too high of a compression?
thanks

Yes your compression is way too high...in my setup im running 9psi on a 8.8:1 cr....by the way...wut block do you have? I use GSR pistons in mine even though its an LS.

that would be in an ls block.
i'm looking to buy this block, but i already have a turbo kit. just wondering if i could boost it safely or not. i would boost about 8psi.

Yes it would spark early, also know as detonation, which is VERY bad. This is the number one killer of boosted honda's world wide. With a 12:1 CR I would just build up an all motor car(silly all motor guys
, or perhaps sell the internals and buy aftermarket low compression ones.
