In my opinion there's no way that bore will last at your goal power levels. 84mm wayy to much of an overbore, just curious why did you go with so much of a bore?

you can't bore a stock sleeve ls to 84mm. you'll have to sleeve it.

Who allowed this? One yes itwould be way to thin, would could cause overheating issues if it was to last some how, because it causesa heat distribution issue.
I think I would rather take my chances with a b20 before I triedsomething like this

ls blocks cant be run at 84mm. even all motor with high compression would crack a sleve. there isnt alot of steel material there to begin with taking away up to 84mm pretty much makes it paper thin. FAIL. id give it a couple pulls on a few psi then melt down lol

i got the block off my friend who told me this the walls and perfect i guess bc he was only running 8psi at 212whp for only acouple miles before his turbo blew and decided to go another route, the block is .040 over, i know that and he said it was 84mm the stock bore is 81.5 correct? so what would the size be after that i thought it was 84mm, can i get it sleeved and .040 over again so i can run the same pistons? but if thats to thin than i wont but i just want to confirm that .040 over is 84mm

i see alot of people running 84mm bores on aftermarket sleeves so do they press the old ones out and then bore before the new sleeves go in to allow for a thicker sleeve? so that they can bore the new sleeve to 84 safely?
