Block Guard
Ok I searched and didn't really find what I was looking for I ordered an srp block guard for my turbo ls I will be running 12psi on a stock sleave with just the block guard will this help me or no some say to put it at the top which I feel is useless so I will be putting it more towards the center any help or opinions will be appreciated (not ones that say ohhh 12 psi is going to crack a sleave beacause I ran 14 psi for a long time and had no problem but got boost spike and it hit 21 psi and cracked a ring land)
save your money up for sleeves. if you cant afford it, just go w/o bg IMO. i got one, but if i could do it all over again, i would have definately just saved up a few more months for sleeves
but 12 psi should be no problem with piston/rod

Boosted cars require thicker sleeves because they need support from top of the sleeves to the bottom. So any block guard is useless. The blockguard itself also restricts coolant flow, so you'll run hot at the top of the sleeves

the tune is the key, i run block guards but the never stopped any of my motors from blowing up! although they might add a little strength they are nothing like sleeves!
