Default Block Is Dark/Dirty

This may sound stupid, but I noticed that my engine block is darker, like its dirty and someone said I might have an exhaust leak under the hood or something. My car is running fine, could it be from my dumptube? Any ideas? It was nicer after the rebuild. I ask cause I want my engine bay to look nice!! Thanks.

Hell yes it could be your dump tube! Any time there is exhaust coming out near your engine bay, whether it be a leak or a wastegate, it's going to leave black **** everywhere.

Is this normal? Do all cars with aftermarket turbos get this? Any way it can be prevented?

where should it lead to? i am using the dump tube that came with the revhard kit. I know it ends somewhere in the front of the engine still. Should it be pointing somewhere else?

you can route it back into your exhaust pipe.
