Blitz BOV adjustmet. ANYONE?? ANYONE Doesnt anyone run the blitz BOV? or should i get my Turbo Xs w
I have been messing with the BOV on my accord few a few days now.
Besides my wastegate that is really sketchy my blow off vavle is not working with me.
does anyone have english directions for the Blitz BOV? When i first tested the car is didnt blow off so i adjusted the end screw, It was to loose, i was releasing boost while building boost. Is this normal? So last night it think i tightend it up and now im relasing and drop all boost at 5 psi.. So in my mind i adjusted it for less boost. Being im guessing the Blitz BOV is not spring loaded adjustment but more so a diaphrame adjustment valve for vaccum..
So im sitting here and im looking for advice on adjustment or some online english directions. I havent messed with it tonight, i can put it back to where it was, which was fine boosting to 7 psi. Just wasnt sure if it was suppost to be leaking or not. Even from what i have done last night it seems as if when it does boost to 5 psi and lets go on its own and builts faster and stronger and the BOV SOUND is much louder and more peircing.. anyways.
help needed thanks.

i have a blitz bov but i haven't tried adjusting it. maybe you adjusted it too loosely that your leaking boost. make sure that the bov isn't stuck and has a good vacuum source.

i will be using the blitz bov on my setup
i've been reading a lot on it and it does leak but thats why they sell the hard spring for it

Yeah they will do that... the boost leaking that is.
Check out the new scc about the blow off valve testing when you in a gas station or grocery store next. The cover the blitz and yes you have to adjust it if you dont want it to leak a bit.
For over 18 psi they recommend the harder spring.

12psi daily and no leakage...
I adjusted mine at idle. stick your finger in the horn and feel the piston at idle. Mine was probably 1/8 open so I just tightened it until there was no gap and gave it an extra 1/4 turn for ***** and giggles.

Re: Blitz BOV adjustmet. (Pritos)
I have th eBlitz at 5psi, I had it really really loose at a time, and it seem too.. fluttery, I don't know. I gave it a couple of tight turns and it seem to be a little louder. Maybe it's what people are saying, maybe you were leak boost at idle or something.
hell, I think I better go check myself and see if I feel the piston valve open at idle or not.
