Default A bit of progress on my end! the build

so far the block is a b18c1 bored to 84mm with full race rods and cp pistons 9.0:1!





Getting closer and closer to having this thing running!

Secret services is assembling it for me!

id say that isnt a block gaurd, its the sleeves, notice the copper rings? kinda blurry, i may be wrong

That looks a lot like GEs "NEW" style sleeves. Not sure if you have checked this aleady, but make sure the "fingers" are not blocking any of the coolant passages. I saw a block with the New style sleeves that was blocking a few of the coolant passages on the ends of the block(cylinder 1 and 4 to be exact).
