Hi guys anyone used this turbo? from pureturbos, the billet bullet 57

bought one for my built b16a that will be up and running in a month or two,looking to net around 400whp.

any one use this snail or any other turbo that has similar characteristics?

any input or feedback is greatly appreciated

The picture says Garret on the housing. So I'm curious as to what the mystery is?

I've spoken with them VIA email, I was not impressed at all with their BS. They tried to impress me by telling me that this specific turbo it will spool so fast that it will spin tires on the dyno...., maybe the should try to figure out how to strap cars down while testing.

given the specs what turbo's dose this compare too?

57mm inducer Billet compressor wheel
"E" compressor cover 3.0" inlet/2.0" outlet
57mm exducer T31, 76 trim turbine wheel
Turbine housing options:
- T3 .63 A/R with 5 bolt discharge
360° steel thrust journal bearing system

These people are leeches. When they started advertising a "silver surfer" based turbo they kept harassing mac asking him what wheels he used for the 2 silver surfer revisions like he was going to help them

They got their start rebuilding and repairing diesel turbos as well as being the only 3rd party who wanted to rebuild precision units
