Default Big bore throttle bodies

Are there any advantages or disadvantages to running a overbored throttle body on a turbo setup? I am talking about 18psi of boost or so. Can you go too big? There is one site that makes them 70mm. Anyone had any experience with these?

Thanks

Yeah there is a benifit to it if your COMPLETE turbo setup allows for more flow.... meaning turbo, IM and compression & RPM limits.

Personally IMHO.....for a normal turbo setup 8-15psi stock ITR (62mm to 65mm work great) 70mm would be overkill for most applications. Check out Ericks 70mm TB, or IB 70mm tb. Kingmotorsports can make you a overbore of a ITR (62mm) into a 67-68mm. hTH
