big boost thermosat?

Default big boost thermosat?

i gotta question for u guyz, im in the finishin stages of finishin my full built d16z6 with a gt35r and the whole 9yards. im only goin to be runin top n bottom radiator hoses, no extra coolant lines to heater core or intake manifold or throttle body.

Should i run ah thermostat still??

Engines actually need to be at a certain temp to run; running constant 160F and below will reduce fuel atomization, which will in turn cause lean pockets to develope, leading to possible detonation even with a pig-rich mixture. Your car won't idle well at 750rpm when cold for a reason.

You can use a 10F cooler T-stat, but if you end up with cooling problems, only a bigger fan/rad or heatwrap will help.
