Default Best way to tune Tial 35mm with TurboXS High Performance Boost Controller

For initial tuning of boost with a Hondata s100b and a stock map of 6psi; would it be best to use a .45 spring to start with then use a TurboXS High Performance Boost Controller to increase boost; or use the .45, .65, and .8 bar springs for tuning to higher boost?

How much more psi with the TurboXS High Performance Boost Controller let me boost if running a .45 spring in the wastegate?

I am under the Assumption that you are correct, As you would use the Smaller .45 bar spring and Increase Boost with a Boost controller!

I have No idea how much More PSI it will let you boost!

well depending on how much boost you want to run all the time would depend on what spring you buy. i have the .45 and have the MBC set to run 10psi when i have it hooked up. im not sure how high you can push the boost controllers to. im sure its higher than you want to run though

So did you tune yours initially with a .45 bar spring and a boost controller? Are you saying after you tuned it you removed the MBC? I plan to run 10-12psi daily, 7-9psi in warmer weather.

you dont have to use different springs to tune to different boost levels. Just get the .45 bar spring and turn it up on the boost controller.

Is that a reliable way to get an accurate boost reading? It seems like it would be cause you can dial in a round number like 10psi instead of 9.43psi with the .65bar spring.

Just asking cause I think I've read a debate post about which is better, a spring or ?screw type controller?

Thanx

as long as you have a good boost controller you should get an accurate reading either way but who wants to take apart the wastegate everytime you change the boost. Go with the .45 and the mbc you will be fine.

LOL, Sorry I am not turbo'd at the moment. I'm still researching parts for my setup and saving some money. I asked cause those are the parts I will most likely use. But, if you go to http://www.turboxs.com they explain it. I'm new to turbos somewhat but it sounds to me like there is a pressure line running from the turbo to the wastegate. Cut it in the middle and insert the MBC. As far as the wiring inside the cabin..........I suk at electronics
