Default Best way to go ?

Which is the best way to go ?

Im gunna get a Ek hatchback, and i have around 10,000 for the motor. I want to go turbo but I dont know what to do if I get turbo to keep it reliable. What should engine should I get ? Im thinking of b16 turbo, but im getting other advice what should I do I want to get turbo but what am i supposed to buy (like rods, camshafts, pistons,etc,etc) ? And what kind of internals am i supposed to do ? ? I need some good help im a newbie but i have the money.

go with a B18C motor and build it up. Call up Golden Eagle. They'll direct you on the right path. Also try the search cuz there is archives of this topic. good luck.

well, you might wanna try a thicker head gasket first before you go with dished pistons to try and lower your compression. It might be as simple as that. Make sure you go with a metal gasket instead of those organic composite ones, they hold up alot better. As for the other stuff, type r camshafts are a good way to go along with type r intake manifold. I've always heard good things about Eagle rods. Also look into some aftermarket valves, valve springs, and titanium retainers, just so you can take your revs alittle higher a little more safely.

Whats the best thing you have to say. YOu think its possible with 10,000 to make a turbo engine in a hatch a daily driven car.
