Best OBD1 ecu to use for tuning?
Hey guys, I currently have a OBD0 b16a in my crx. I am going to convert to OBD1 and get tuned with neptune but i am wondering which ecu would be best. I heard something about p28's not having a knock sensor or IAB control?
What would the best ecu be to use for my situation or does it really not matter?
P28
P30
P72
or a different one?

p28 - no knock or iab
p30 - knock but no iab
p72 - knock and iab
i have a p28 in my setup, havent needed the knock. working well so far.

dumb question but i am not to familiar with electronics. Does an OBD0 B16a have a knock sensor or iab? Depending on which it has would be my guess on which one i should buy.

I dont know of any trusted tuners familiar with it.

really depends on who is going to tune it for you and if they need the knock or the iab in put. the knock can be taken care of if you have and plx wideband or equivellant

Re: (TurboEM1)
Since it will have a perfect tune by Jeff Evans, i woudl just go with whatever is easiest or cheapest. Most will say P28, doesnt have knock sensor and such, which some people disable on other ECU's. That process doesnt matter since it is easy to disable with whatever engine management program you are using.
