avatar stealer!!!

but, serioulsy, ems is about 90% worthless for the money. it can't make any more power than uberdata, but it does have some neat little add ons that 90% of cars don't make use of. i'm not AGAINST it.....i'm just the kind of person that only cares about power...and i can make teh same power just as easy out of uberdata, for about 1/10 the price.

1/10 of the price if your already obd1 If not add 250 more $bills yall.
I used urberdata for a month, it was ok. I like my EMS better though

HKS has the BEST steeping motor on the market for street use that I know of.
I use an EVC IV and love it, the best thing about the stepping motor is that it stays COMPLETELY closed until you reach full boost or in Fuzzy Logic mode it.... http://www.hksusa.com/FAQ/?id=1546&rsku=0 The HKS also has great over-boost protection, 2 stage, scramble, and a remote input I am in the process of setting it up to work in conjunstion with my aem ems.

if you're allready obd2, yo just sell that ecu for an obd1 non-vtec ecu and walk away with your $150 and go to boom slang and grab a harness for 75 and you end up MAKING $75 to play around with

Never thought about selling my stocker I would rather keep my ecu just in case I spent 100 on the harness and 110 on the ecu, then about 20 in chips and sockets. I still perfer my EMS. If any ones looking for an urberdata setup let me know I got every thing needed.

APC is Saab's boost control system, used from the early 80's until ~91... it was still in use after that, but the system got a little more complex and could no longer be removed for use as a standalone boost controller on other vehicles. It's strongest feature is it includes a KS, and the KS was the early Saab 900's only method of boost control; the APC limited boost when it saw knock. Pretty cool since the earliest APC equipped Saabs had cast pistons instead of forgings.

HKS EVC4 is the best i ran.... has a learning mode and matches your boost curve .......

i ran 28psi on high and 14 on low....yes 14 low.....

also has a great scramble boost mode..for that just incase mode when 28 just isnt enough......

easy install, easy learn mode doen in second or third gear{which i reccomend 3rd}
easy to hide and a remote button switch can be purchased for the scramble swithc,so u can mount to the shifter or looks to be able to be mounted on ur steering wheel if u have a aftermarket with a toggle area to mount...

ran daily for 2 years before i needed more than the 28 which is i believe its max point???

regards
james
