im about to buy a turbo kit, however some of the fins are bent on the intercooler. the ones on the front of the intercooler are from rocks and road debris id imagine, but when the guy im buyin from mounted it he had to bend the mounting bracket and bent some of the fins when he bent it too far. could this cause any problems or is it nothin to worry about?

 

Bend the fins back. I like to use a small flathead screwdriver, but there are special pliars designed to do it.

 

 

thats fine to use. the tube is fine and luckly the fins on the outer row don't need to work as well as the inner ones anyway. Be carefull if you have to bend it back too

 

It can be fixed. as long as none of the cores themselves are damaged.
