Re: edelbrock (_BEN_)
its good compared to the greddy turbo kit, but then again it all most double the price. Its a ture complete kit. Comes with everything right down to a boost gauge.

So far I havent been impressed w/ the dyno's I've seen. I guess if you're looking for a CARB aproved total kit, you're in luck. I dont think I could spend that much money for the performance.

Re: edelbrock (Civic_95_Si)
I think it is a good kit almost the same as a greddy once u add up what u will need like intercooler, blow-off valve, etc. plus the turbo it comes flows alot better than the tdo4 in
the greddy,
i really haven't seen too many dyno's of it with real engine management like hondata or uberdata.
maybe i will be the first.

You are calling uberdata real engine management next to hondata!
Well, from a turbo kit standpoint, Edelbrock is the only one that comes with a computer that also adjusts engine timing with boost.
I have 25k miles on my Edelbrock turbo kit, not one problem with it.

well what is it fake engine management!!!! i don't see the problem by comparing the two.
They both allow you to tune your car in a lot more detail than what comes with the kit
unless u are going to stay within the predetermined boost level and how many people are going to do that.

You can buy a programmer for the Edelbrock turbo kit and use it to adjust the fuel/timing maps for different boost levels. You can also buy larger secondary fuel injectors based on your power goals.
How about, you can buy a GM boost solenoid, for like $30, to add an electronic boost control. Using the external programmer you can program a boost map as well.
I haven't seen a better fuel management system used by any other kits, unless those kits are the bling kits that come with a AEM ECU, for example.
