Default base timing for jrsc @13psi?????????

With 8:5:1 compression, what should the base timing be set?
With fuel pump and 310cc injectors? leave it retarded to around 10-12? Or advance it to stock timing which is 14-18 degrees base. runing 12psi pulley?

Do you have a way to retard the timing based on boost pressure?

we ran 16 degrees base on mine with 8psi, and timed the hel out of it with hondata. if you have hondata, doug has some of my fuel/timing maps on the website.

With your low compression, I would run the base around 10 degrees. It also will depend on the temp as well. I did that same setup with 9:1 compression pistons and it was my daily driver to school and back over a 3 hr drive. I ran mine at 8-10 degrees depending on ambient temp. This was at 13psi on pump gas, 320cc injectors, and a 255 walboro pump. Ocassional detonation during hot days so please be cautious. Also, as Art asked, you may want to think about some sort of intercooling.

its my friends jrsc integra. He has a msd btm. He says he wants more off the line and more rpm's. The stock ecu wont let him go past 8200. we checked with a timing light and at idle it looks like he's between 12-13 degrees timing.

Whats the btm's function actually? I used to have a 6al on my R but It wasnt installed correctly.

Can you buy the little pills for the btm say the 9000rpm one?

p.s. When we put in my x/s ecu 9100rev limit his a/f gauge read it was staying richer a little longer? I got that as an upgrade for my R back in 98, and now it seems When I get new pistons or new bottom ends, my pistons rings dont last more than 25k miles. Yes I have been through some chyt wit my R but I still have it and would hate to see it go.
