Balancing Crank.....
What did you guys pay to get your crank balanced? Im still researching to see if I really wanna spend the extra cash to get it balanced or get a block girdle, thanks!

I payed $180 to get it cut, balanced, and polished with my new rods and pistons.
I dunno what the going rate is because I got it done by my friend's family who owns a machine shop.

I don't remember what the price was for mine but the guy at the shop who did it said that most Honda cranks are balanced very very well and its not really worth the bucks unless you plan on upping the redline way up.

I got mine done for 180 also. Honda must do a great job at the factory because the only thing that needed to be done was a little weight was put on the flywhel at 2 places. The crank was perfect.

I am paying $175 for high speed balancing of my Crank, crank pulley, pistons, rods, flywheel and pressure plate. (quality shop) Honda does a great job on the balancing in general, but they do not high speed balance, which is why, if given the chance, you should do it.
