Icon2 This a Bad Sensor?????????

I have a 93 civic d16z6..... while driving my car runs Great, smooth (car warmed to temp), air/fuel at 14.5..... but when i approach a stop light, and push in the clutch to coast to a stop RPMs drop to idle but then begin to jump between 750 and 1500rpms while still rolling. air/fuel drops as well to 17.5 to 20. back to 17.5 then back to 20. ect... but as soon as the car comes to a stop the idle starts to smooth out at 850rpms and air/fuel goes back to 14.5 Also if i let the car idle for like 5 to 10min. after its warmed up the air/fuel will just drop off and jump between 17.5 to 20. then shortly after check engine light comes on? is this a bad sensor??? if so what sensor? any help please... thanks guys.....

sounds like a bad IACV.

This would probobly be better off posted in the tech section or the civic section.

I would pull off the IACV and clean it with some brake cleaner. Is the car tuned?

it amazes me people still use afc hacks when you can chip an ecu and buy a chip burner for less then half the price.

your problem is your 1999 tuning hardware.

Put your stock injectors back in. Set the afc back to stock or default settings or whatever. The car should run fine after that.... If you're boosted I wouldn't be hitting any boost yet either...

Lookup xenocron or phearable and have them burn you a basemap for your setup so you can drive it to someone to get tuned(if you ecu is chipped, if not find a p28 and have it chipped or buy on from a vendor). the afc hack is ghetto and not worth anyones time anymore when decent engine management is available
