Default two step rpm question

im posting on my friends account. im getting a tune for my pr4 ecu at phearable and was wondering would it be better if i had the rpms for my car for a two step set at 3700, lower, or higher with my car boosting 9lbs.

that is way too low. you would not want to launch at 3700 rpm, you are going to bog. Testing different launch rpm's on the track is really the only way to find what works best for your setup

You cant ask that question dude. Lots of factors go into question one of the most important being tires.

What phearable is giving you is probably a basemap which is meant to get you to your tuner to have it TUNED.

I adjust my two step every time I put slicks on and depending on how the track is and weather and what not. but I have s300 so its really easy to mess with it.

for street tires you should just launch off reving. on slicks you need to do it via trial and error but I tell you that it really sucks having it set too low to were you can't change it and your car will always bog and you cant do anything about it.

Get a real engine management system like hondata/aem

Theres a script to do it in crome free that I built like 10lbs with

Also what phearable is giving you is a BASEMAP

There are going to be adjustments that need to be made to timing and fuel. It's only to get you to your tuner unless there's some new over-the-internet tuning solution I don't know about
