Bad ? Eagle rods...
Called Eagle, got some pretty interesing info. They said that Gsr rod bearings are skinnier than all other b series motors. The R, b16, ls, ect have wider rods and therefore wider bearings. The Gsr is the only usdm motor with the skinner bearing. I believe he said the civic type R in japan uses the smaller bearings also.
yea, i went through and ordered all the honda/acura bearings. Just thought some people might be interested in the rod bearing differences. Im sure alot of people know, but i know alot of people dont

They are wrong, ITR/GSR/B16 use the same sized bearings. LS/B20 is what has a wider bearing on the rods, the mains are all the same. If you are using the proper rods with the proper crank there should not be a problem. And nope, ACLs should fit and be sized exactly like stock, if not then something is wrong.
