Yeah that timing is nasty for 15 psi. I would check that asap.

The numbers look great. Have you toyed with the idea of ITR cams? With higher compression, larger bore and lower boost levels on the street I could see your mtor benefiting from them with the 1000cc's and a nice tune on it.

Also - it looks like your running an open diff. Wow - quaife that bitch!!!

Nice numbers - watch that timing and check the plugs ASAP.

Wow, that is some good numbers for a 10.5-compression engine on pump gas! I'd guess off-boost response is great with all that compression, maybe similar to a stock B16 off boost? Did you log your intake air temperatures (after the intercooler)? Also, the timing seems a little on the agressive side. I'd hate to see you blow up that fine-*** built machine...

lol...nah not working at the mall anymore....

Checked the plugs and there are no signs of detonation what so ever...doing compression test tomorrow to check everything out. Right now I am toying with the possibility of just keeping it on pump gas for this coming event and than tuning it with race gas for NOPI since I do not have a cage yet nor do I have a scatter shield in case I were to break into the 11's. I'd hate to be kicked off after just one pass.

Thanks for the props on the b16. That is the whole reason why I went with it since not many people do and what not. Just thought that I would be different in my neck of the woods.

GET A COMP. AND LEAKDOWN TEST . . . THEN CHECK YOUR OIL PRESSURE ! ! ! You dont want a blown built engine dude also if the timing is as bad as everyone says, next time you go for the race gas tune have them pull some timing . . . better safe than sorry. Longevity over the possibilty of an empty wallet and headaches

very nice...although i would of thought that you would be making a bit more torque since you're at a 84mm bore. none the less, those are GREAT numbers and i would honestly die to have those numbers on my LS once i get it running right.

im with mase on that one..... the choppyness in the dyno graph may not be just smoothing..... dynojets suck for good resolution in the chart, but i woudl suspect slight detonation.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. Within the next few days I am going to change the timing on the car to something a little more conservative and just have the real fun with it on the track.

if the detonation isnt audible, then you shouldnt loose any power by pulling back the timing... hell you might pick some up.

good numbers tho.. anything 350hp+ is a bad *** street car.

Totally! If you are making the same hp at lower timing why go higher.

obviously he was making power w/ less timing..it's not like the tuner just picked a number.hmmm, let's see i'll just set the timing at 22 and see what happens.i think the choppyness is bulldogg's distributer going bad, but don't take my word for it, my car only made sub 500 whp on pump gas.

just an update we retuned the car today and did a compression test....Compression was a flat 200 across the board meaning that my compression is more like 10:1.....moved timing back to 19 degrees and make 401whp/267ftlb of torque @ 16lbs on 93 octane....will post the dyno sheet this weekend.
