Default b20/vtec turbo

I recently blew up my ls/vtec motor that had cp pistons, eagle rods, new bearing...i had been boosting it pretty hard for about almost 1 year but finally gave up. Im currently deciding what my next proyect is gonna be and i was thinking about a b20 sleeved motor...woudn't it be the same if i sleeved a ls and make it an 84mm instead of getting a b20?? i was thinking about buying a b20 longblock and installing it in the car and keep it that way for a couple of months until i save money, then go ahead and swap the head with the fully built b16 that came off my recent proyect..and keep it an all motor car until june or july and then take the motor off and sleeve it..would it be better for an all motor if i get a b20 or b18..im thinking a b20 cause of the bigger displacement maybe??

Also i had another question..in my last proyect i had a gt40 turbo and i liked it a lot but it would take too long to boost..i wonder if i should change my setup or keep it the same since i will be a 84mm which should boost quicker or getting a gt35 ball bearing.??? i want the car for street racing pretty much, i mean i do wanna take it to the track ocassionally but mostly street..here is my setup:
obx ramhorn manifold
tial 44 mm wastegate
1000cc precision injectors
p-fab 1000hp intercooler
gt40 journal bearing
type s bov
255lph walbro
