Default b20/vtec tracktime update

Well I ran at the track again saturday with a set of slicks on steelies. They still spun quite a bit, but it was alot better. I need to get some bigger ones.

Still in all my car hit a best of 12.67 @ 110 I did hit a few high 111mph pass's, but each time i missed a shift or didn't get it into gear smoothly ran a 12.8 on that.

my timeslip:
R/T: .577
60FT: 2.030
330ft: 5.516
1/8: 8.295
MPH: 88.69
1/4: 12.671
MPH 110.04

This again was done with a built b20/vtec turbo, vafc hack running 10psi (.74kg/cm) and MT 8x20x14" slicks on steelies.

Again raced at carlsbad, My friends in the stand were sayin people were like "ha ha little civic vs ford lightning truck" and once i took off, and beat it by 1.9 seconds everybody was like whoaa that thing is fast. So far at carlsbad racing many v8's and turbo datsun's I still haven't lost been a few close ones but still came out ahead.

Now my problem is I am in california and I got rolled for smog a week ago, I am not sure what to do with the car? Supose to take it to the referree i guess, but I have to do a engine swap to do this. All my friends keep saying "just pay the fine" and i am not sure what that means yet. I haven't seen the fine option or i would just pay it. Anybody have some insight in this?

late

well and with this smog thing, i might swap my old engine in the coupe and get myself a EG hatch Cuz also i need a rollcage and i dont want to really jack my current car with that. So imagine dropping like 400 pounds of weight on a Civic CX or so

get some better slicks. you could run a way better 60ft. at least a set of 22's. minimum.

I was lookin, at some 22x8x13's on Lenso rims. Is that a good enough combo? the 8x20's were too small, i was in 5th at the end of the track mid RPM.

i was just in orlando this weekend talking to some people and i was asking why they dont have any inspection stickers. they said they dont have any inspections at all. no emissions test/ check or anyting. i guess if your exhaust is quite you will never be fucked with. i know this is kinda ot but i just wanted to compare.

man too bad your buddy did not get the people saying that on tape!! that **** would of been funny.

Safest way out of that is to bust an "over the weekend" double header:
Swap an OE engine with OE computer, bring it to the ref, then swap it all over again! I'm guessing a fine for tampered emissions is pretty steep. Steep enough to sell your B20 set-up!!!
