Default b20 vtec blockguard question

so im sure everyone knows that the b20 block has thin sleeves, but anyway i was wondering if blockguard with help any considering sleeving a block is a tad expensive for me.

I used to have a blockguard on my old setup and it was fine...for a lil while. Remember having one is not a sure guarantee that your sleeves won't crack under abuse and/or high boost. Save up your money and go the safer route... with iron sleeves. No regrets on mine!!! (RS MACHINE sleeved block)
