Default b20 vs. b20 vtec on boost???????

ok heres my problem i have a b18b on boost never had any mechanical problems in the last 2yrs daily driver n still running but now i recently built my b20 bottom end now im not sure if i should keep it a full b20 or go with the b20 vtec although ive heard good n bad thing about b20vtec but everyone has different opinions jus wondering wat u guys think also keep in mind its a daily driver im not looking for sick hp # jus reliability let me know wat u think .......thanks

The main issue with a b20 block is the sleeves. They're one big piece, and tend to have more issues cracking (between the cylinders) than indivudual sleeves. A boosted built b20 nonvtec will have enough torque where you won't need a flat powerband to 8k rpm.

so u saying it will be ok if its built and would it be safer if i kept it a full ls?????
