b20 turbo times, opinions?
i finally got to run my turbo b20z yesterday at the track, i was kinda disapointed but maybe i should be happy??i ran on yoko 205/45/15's and with a crappy 2.5 60ft i manged to get a 14.23@102.......the car is a 92 si hatch with power doors and a bunch of other dodads and that was only on 6psi.....is this decent?? i was hoping for like 13.5's........

you have obvious traction problems here and your not really running that much boost. so don't feel too bad. that trap should get a high 13's pass out of your car without much effort.
my solution would be turn up the boost but hey that's always my solution.
any dyno time what kind of management blah blah blah, let us know.

ya nicks car was close...but he could only run 14.4 and he was gettin like 2.1 60ft....... but yea i wanna get my hondata soon, but i need to do something about the lean condition before i blow the thing up....the setup is a bone stock b20z.....i'm running a drag gen 3 man. and tial wastegate....it's a closed loop wastegate setup with a 2 3/4 dp and it's a t3/t04e turbo, i have a ls trans with r final drive and diff, wich should have given me better 60ft then it did, but oh well, i need to get some better tires....i'm gonna try to run some 225/55/15 nitto 555r's on my next venture to the track and see if i can do any better......

youre just going to have a lot of traction problems being so torquey and all. try dropping the pressure in your tires and see if that helps some, and feathering the throttle more(dont just drop the hammer)
