i have a 92 integra and i put a b20 engine in it. i did everything the same as the b18. i even swapped the b18 intake manifold. It cranks, get spark and fuel.no start. Ugh. its really annoying. Any suggestions? What should i check now? any help would be appreciated. I have no idea why it wont start.

 

yo bro u not alone i got the same problem with my turbo ls check make sure all ur grounds are good try a different computer also check the timing

one from engine to the body and one from tranny to body

 

yea thats what i thought. The one from my tranny to the body is all frayed and messed up. do you think that could mess me up?

 

has anyone ever found a crappy ground to really keep an engine from starting though?

 

yea a crappy can stop u from starting my car almost caught fire and there was no spark

 

Check the ground on the Thermostat, and on the tranny. Both will keep it from starting.

 

thanks for your comments the only thing i can tell u is that when i just installed my b20 it did the same thing it cranked over but nothing what i did was i changed my 450 injectors back to stock since i dont have a fuel pressure regulator and the bitch started right up thats what i can tell u but also check the grounds

i dont see how my fuel injectors would do anything. i just had them working on my b18 right before i started this swap.

 

are the ignition wires on in the correct order and is your cam timing ok?

if those are good, do a compression check.

 

try removing the dizzy, rotating the rotor 180 degrees, and bolting it back on.

 

do the compression test i had the same problem compression was sucker that keep it from starting
