well for boost i would pick either b18a1 or dohc zc<<comes with low c/r but has very weak rods.but ive heard samething with b18a they have thin *** rods also.when boosting a stock motor u want to be wise on what u do and buy.

IMO buy a d-series boost it so when u blow it up the motor will be cheap to repalce.

b18a
either a1 or a2
i put 22 pounds of boost on a completely stock b18a2 the only thing that wasnt stock was the clutch and 880 injectors and s300 we made 320 to the wheels that was a month ago and its still holding
dont let people fool you ls motors are the best motor for boost

wrong forum. but i wouldn't waste your time boosting a stock b20. cylinder walls are paper thin.

And if you put 22 psi to any honda motor and only made 320, your tuners a [freak]ing joke or you're lying. I'm going with the 'you're lying' option

trust me, i'm well aware of the tuning capabilities of the companies out ther, but those numbers don't line up. you can make 320~whp with HALF the boost.... its bullshit dude.

PSI doesn't mean ****. i say boost which ever one you want. i got 2 friends with boosted B20. one is a stock B20 bottom end with a Vtec head making 380. the other is a completely stock b20 making 280. both with about the same PSI. so what does that tell you.

you can go for 300hp realibly as long as your tune is good. if you are real confident about your tuner then take it to 350 but its all up to you. i made 400 on my bone stock LS for about 8 months of straight beating on it. then a rod bolt stretched on me. but i was also revving it to 7700

if you go b20 go b20b it has a little lower compression then the z. i have had mine on 8 pounds for about 7 to 8 months and so far nothing bad has happened. . plus i dont beat on it all the time but it is my daily driver. but yea i hear all the time about the walls being thin. either way just get it tuned .

how are you going to say he is lying ? when if hes running 22 psi on a smaller turbo, its not going to produce as much power as a bigger turbo, he may be running 22 psi on a t28 where his tune is good, rather than hitting 22 with a gt45 or something along those lines. then i would say he is "lying." but b20s come from ls blocks, there just bored over, ecentially their the same block, bigger bore, thinner walls. sleeve one and you have an awesome platform.
