b20 intake manifold same size as b18?
im looking into getting a bigger intake manifold but dont have the money to spend on edlebrok (sp?) or venom or skunk2. then i thought...what about b20? i know its got the same bolt pattern so it'll fit but are they the same "bore" size on runners and the main part?

Re: (b20boost)
why wouldnt the b20 intake mani fit b18b? arent they the same bolt pattern. b18b motor is the same as b20, just different displacement, no?

Re: (98B00STED)
The B20 intake depends on the car. The stock LS manifold will outflow any B20 manifold. The B20 manifolds are too tall to fit under a swapped cars hood. Their designed to make more torque at lower RPM utilizing longer intake runners (making the manifold taller). The B20Z mani has this "black box" that attaches to its upper part of the manifold making it even taller. The box somehow equalizes pressure pulses in the manifold and increases the torque in the 4K range. I heard that somewhere around this forum.
Manily I wouldn't suggest it unless you get a 5" cowl induction hood to clear the bastard. i dumped mine for a 94 LS manifold. And yes the heads are identical.
