I know for performance aspects the b20 intake manifold isnt the best, but any other reason why people dont use them. I would assume that people think they wont fit under the hood with the EVAP sensor sitting on top. But if that were to be taken off, would it fit?

first there are two type of B20 intakes the giraffe which definatly doesn't clear or makes power and b20z or JDM smx (b20b) with a low type and a plate to cover up the emission systems, without it its just like a LS manifold but the look you get is not clean.
I suggest spending few $$$ and upgrading to Skunk2 , especially if running large cams, or boost

my b20 intake manifold works great; sure beats the snort out of the old '90 ls one. From what i can tell, this b20 one (jdm '96 b20b engine) is the exact same at the b18b ls mani. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.
