b20 to 84.5 or not??

Default b20 to 84.5 or not??

planning to use probe ultra light pistons and rod..ive seen that crv-tec has recommended that...any suggestions?? not planniong to sleeve the b20 so should i just stay at 84 or still go to 84.5...planning to boost but turbo and set up is still in consideration on which route to build ..its gonna be a daily driven 4 door teg..i currently have a b20 block and a gsr tranny and a b16 head.. have about 2k to spend on the block..ideas?? thanx

why would you not want to sleeve the block? without the sleeves, you can still crack youre sleeves.

You should be able to run up to 15 lbs no problem on pump gas if its tuned well.

12 LBS daily would be easy with aftermarket pistons.

B20B blocks are pretty beefy! Water jacket is a little smaller. But ah well!

if i were you save a little extra cash and open the b20 to 86mm and have it sleeved.

B20 sleeves are weaker than any other B series sleeves... Sleeve it or else leave the bore alone and boost moderately and tune the hell out of it
