b18c5 b18c1 or b16ek9 type r
hey everyone i have a 97 civic with a d16 vtec motor turboed i want to keep the turbo and all that **** so do u think that i should sell the d16 because has uberdata engine managment and then either get a b18c5 b18c1 or b16 type r motor please leave me some comments thanks peace

you cant ask a queston like that.....
if you are serious about keeping the turbo and getting serious power it doesnt matter what bottom end you go with as long as you rebuild it. gsr itr and ctr are all high compression and will not handle much boost. honestly i would go with either a ls vtec or gsr. rebuild the bottom end with forged rods and forged low compression pistons at a min... do a little head work and then you have your coice of how much power you have by changing the boost.

So, the GSR is high compression and will not handle much boost, but you'll go with it?
More boost does not equal more power son.
