B18c1 JRSC Help Please!
I have a 1991 Crx Si swapped with a JDM B18c1, I went to put the JRSC charger on tonight..
But only to find out the chargers pulley is hitting the Master Cylinder, I'm using hasport solid mounts right now, I know that innovative makes mounts that clear even a B20 of the hood, Do you think those mounts and say a shallow moroso oil pan would give me enough clearance?
It's late here, but tomorrow I'm going to unbolt the M.C. and see how much room I need.
First autocross of the season is in 5 days, I'm going to need all the help I can get!
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you very much!

The CRX's engine bay is super-tight. I had an '88 Si a few years back (stock D16A6 motor, no JDM swap) while all my buddies had hatches. The engine bay of my CRX had WAY less room to work then their cars.
I don't know if a different set of motor mounts would do the trick - hopefully someone who's done a similar swap can chime in. Have you called Jackson Racing to see what the say? They might not have an answer, but maybe they can steer you in the right direction before you spend your time running around trying to fix this.
If the clearance isn't too bad, moving the M.C. might be a viable option. You might even be able to eliminate/remove the booster (the big round thing behind the M.C.) and install a remote vacuum canister? Of maybe don't run power assist at all (hey, the McLaren F1 didn't have power assisted brakes)?

i just installed a jrsc on my 98'' gsr and the 4.0 nose pulley grinds everynow and then when my engine shifts or jerks, sometimes in reverse too so i was told here in the fi forum that either you need to run a smaller pulley like the 3.8 but you boost more! or you can cut a washer in half in a c shape and shim the passenger side of the master cylinder or you can shimm the motor mount with washer 1/4''-1/8'' between the mount and bracket to lower the motor a little for clearance. gl.

hahaha, very true!
Do you know of any good options for a remote vacuum canister?
I'm going to see If I can lower the engine a little bit and get any clearance..
I really only wanted to run 6LBS, but It looks like the 10 pound pully might have to be put on, which is awesome...
But I hope It doesn't' pop =[
Thank you all very very very much.
