B18C1 Cylinder Head..........
Hi all I will give you a run down on what I have.. Use to have stock Gsr Head on a sleeved 84mm GSR bottom end with the works (melted number 4 piston) so now I have a honed 84.5mm Sleeved Gsr bottom end with slightly lower compression pistons from 9:0:1 JE's to 8:8:1 Wiseco's..BOOSTED of Course. Now I wanna build the head, When going oversized valves say like 1mm over on intake should exhaust be 1mm over or is it ok to stick to standard size on exhaust valves
Hey man on a turbo setup you generally want to focus on the exhaust as much as the intake if not even more. Because you have forced more air in with that turbo than you would ever get N/A In my personal opinion i would over size exhaust, simply because the turbo is forcing air in. So i feel the exhaust is the more important to over size to get the air out.And that extra air flow can't hurt the turbo. ha ha ha
I am looking to make as much power as possible but still be able to use stock cams for a little while till I get performance cams

Putting a bigger valve on a stock port head won't give you much at all, think about it this way. The port is a hallway and the valve is a door, if you get bigger valves all your doing is putting a bigger door on the same sized hallway. You'd be beter off with doing some bowl work on the exhaust side and a nice valve job.
My 0.2 cents.

so go with standard sizes than<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Adi Radoncic »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Putting a bigger valve on a stock port head won't give you much at all, think about it this way.
