I was cleaning my b18 to get ready for css today and noticed what I think to be a crack. I talked to css and they think it’s a casting mark. What do you guys think? Tuner says run it if css thinks it’s okay but now I’m worried. I’m shipping the block out tomorrow and put on the note to check out cyl 2 before doing any work.
Even if it is a crack I've heard people run a half-cracked sleeve (the aluminum outer has a crack, but the inner iron is still fine) and they claim they are fine after many miles. It will probably be fine
