Im pretty sure someone ask this question before! Either way im trying to decide if i should keep my b18b1 or get me a b20b i know the diff on the motor is the b18b1 has a lil more hp but a lil less torque then the b20b. Im wanting to go boost for sure by next month. Wanted to get some ideas on what other people think i should do im leaning on keeping my b18b1 and going boost which would be better ?

 

i'd keep the b18b1.

 

i am personally going B20 bone stock, trying to make 250whp on low boost and 300whp+ on high using E85. If your engine is in good condition (do compression check / leakdown test) I would just run what you got. B20 will make better torque but your tuner will need to keep the tune very conservative.
